October’s Blog.

Hello everyone,

At the end of last month, we said a sad goodbye to Vicky who has started a new, full-time job at the Jigsaw Trust. Vicky joined us in April 2025 and since then she, and Catherine, have continued to steadily grow our Post Office trading. We will miss her and wish her well in her new role.

We are delighted to welcome Lucy Holroyd who will be taking over from Vicky as soon as her Post Office vetting and training is complete. Many of you will know Lucy, who lives in the village, and we look forward to seeing behind the Post Office counter soon.

Look out for more information about our Greek Tasting Day later this month. We will be offering samples of delicious Greek produce available to purchase in the Shop.

We are delighted to welcome a new volunteer to the Shop! Vicky Whiteley has recently joined us and will be found behind the till on Fridays.

A date for your diary – our AGM will be at 6pm on Wednesday 11th November at the Winn Hall.

With best wished from Gary, all the staff, volunteers, and Shop Committee members.
