Hot drinks loyalty scheme
Buy any non-alcoholic hot drink from Dunsfold Village Shop to claim one stamp on the card. Once you have collected eight stamps on one card, you can claim your ninth hot drink free.
For those of you who have been missing your caffeine fix you’ll be pleased to learn that our brand-new shiny coffee machine has arrived! We have new coffee beans too so please pop in and give us a try. A Latte Machiatto is my new favourite. Also, look out for some exciting news about our new hot drink loyalty scheme coming soon.
Easter is here and we still have a fantastic range of chocolate eggs, cakes, gifts and flowers in the Shop if you’re quick!
Our wine of the month for April is a False Bay Windswept Sauvignon Blanc. This is a restrained Sauvignon with a palate that has lots of miner-ality and citrus with just a touch of green pepper and grass. Only £8.55 during the month.
We’ve recently started selling some beautiful gifts in the Shop. We have bath salts from Savanna Salts based in Chiddingfold and pretty mugs and candles from Arthouse Unlimited in Godalming. These are ideal if you’re looking for a present for someone.
I guess I’ll have to mention my two minutes of fame being interviewed about the Shop on BBC Radio Surrey in March. Every time the phone rings now I think it’s going to be an invitation to appear on Strictly or I’m a Celebrity but nothing so far – I suspect they’ve just mislaid my phone number! If you’d like to listen to the interview a link is available on the Shop’s Facebook page.
Finally, we were also delighted to feature in an article in the Surrey Advertiser talking about our 10th Birthday, the South West Surrey Hero’s award and our 3000th click and collect/delivery order.
With best wishes from Gary and all the staff, volunteers and Shop Committee members.
THE SHOP HAS WON A SOUTH WEST SURREY HEROES AWARD 2021!
The Shop team of staff and volunteers and the Management Committee are delighted to announce that Jeremy Hunt MP, in conjunction with Tindle Newspapers, has awarded the Shop a South West Surrey Heroes Award.
Whilst this has not been “officially” announced on Jeremy’s website, we are now able to share this very happy news with you all and we couldn’t be more pleased and proud. We are so very grateful to everyone involved in the Shop’s continued efforts to support our community during this pandemic.
This is a new Community Heroes scheme, which acknowledges and shines a spotlight on those people going above and beyond to help others during these challenging times. The scheme celebrates those individuals who go that “extra mile” whether that be supporting their neighbours or individuals through the Covid-19 pandemic, fundraising or helping the community. Eight other organisations join us in winning the award this year.
So in addition to celebrating our 10th birthday at the beginning of February AND having completed our 3000th order for collection, we are happy to add this award to our list of achievements.
We are as proud as punch and as always, THANK YOU, for your on going support and encouragement throughout.

We are very proud of the charity support we provide…
- We’ve supported Macmillan thanks to a customer who has been busy making bright and cheerful face masks. You can buy them at the shop front door if you’ve forgotten yours. And yes, we really like you to wear one and please be patient as we can only have two people in the shop at a time.
- And last, but by no means least, we support local charities too. Arthouse Unlimited is another pool of talented people in our community and supplies us with cheeky cards, handmade soaps and handmade chocolates.
New social distancing rules from 24 July
From 24 July, two customers wearing face masks will be allowed in the Shop and Post Office at a time. Please follow social distancing rules and sanitise your hands before entering. This will continue to be available at the Shop door.
Face masks to purchase will be available outside the Shop for customers. We will have disposable 3-ply face masks at 50p per mask on sale as well as the re-usable cloth masks at £5 donation to MacMillan.
Please continue to queue outside with a two metre distance in between you and the next customer!
